An emergency notice has been put out, saying many timber workers and even more cops have assembled at the Oaks since early this morning.

A large group of workers and equipment have arrived at the Memorial Oak Grove this morning along with an increased police presence.
It appears that the day has arrived when UC will begin cutting down the grove you see at the top of this page.
Meanwhile four tree-sitting protesters remain in a single tree in the center of the grove. Which has now been occupied in protest for 21 months.
Please come to the grove if you can to witness this moment in our history.
