Palin’s Pregnant Daughter Revives Debate on Family Values
A short article on Palin's pregnant daughter, and her views on abortion, and family values.
Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin’s unwed 17 year old daughter Bristol’s
pregnancy has revived the debate on family values. Democrats, are used to the
family values debate used by Dick Cheney, and John McCain to fan fanatical flames
on the far right.
Instead of taking care of the problem at an Anchorage abortion clinic, Bristol is
going to join the ranks of Jamie Lynn Spears, and other unwed teens. Jamie
Lynn supposedly sent Bristol some burp cloths, and now Lynne Spear’s has
apparently said the initial story was allegedly inaccurate.
Lindsay Lohan has also joined the national debate on Sarah Palin, teen pregnancy, and
family values. According to Lindsay: "I get Sarah Palin's views against abortion, but I would much prefer to hear more about what she can do for our country rather than how her daughter is going to have a child no matter what. Maybe focus on delivering some words and policy with stronger impact like Joe Biden."
Sarah Palin belongs to a radical far right extremist sect called Feminists for Life that
would like to reverse Roe v. Wade. Palin is on the record Huffingtonpost September
1, 2008 as not supporting pregnancy termination even if her own daughter was raped.
Palin’s extreme views on abortion have tended to sway Hillary Clinton Democrats toward the Obama-Biden ticket. According to NOW chair Kim Gandy: “What McCain does not understand is that women supported Hillary Clinton not just because she was a woman, but because she was a champion on their issues. They will surely not find Sarah Palin to be an advocate for women. Sen. Joe Biden is the VP candidate who appeals to women, with his authorship and championing of landmark domestic violence legislation, support for pay equity, and advocacy for women around the world.”
Palin also apparently rejected the abortion option in regard to her son Trig who has Down syndrome, even though she knew about it from her doctor before he was born.
Cindy McCain has now parted company with Palin concerning cases of rape, and incest.
It is rather interesting, and hypocritical for Palin to be espousing family values while her daughter Bristol is having a lot of promiscuous premarital sex. Moreover, Palin’s nomination will probably increase the support of Hillary Democrats, and independents for Obama-Biden.
