You remember the scene from the movie Brave Heart: a handful of bicyclists with home-made swords, and tinfoil on their helmets riding through town to defeat the dragons of excessive car parking garages and to battle for better bike lanes.....no wait.....that's a scene from the ride this friday.
Gear up as the battle for Santa Cruz begins as we take back the city the old fashioned way (Brave Heart themed) fighting for a bike friendly Santa Cruz.
Meet 5:30 at the corner of cooper and pacific @ Oneils/Cinema. August 8. Leave at 6pm.
What to bring:
Toy/paper/home-made medievil weapons (if you can)
Armor/knights clothing/recycled chain mail.

Lots of spirit
Flyers to print out and pass to your friends!
