Lennar and its dubious machinations near Hollywood, Vallejo, Richmond, and else where.

by Francisco Da Costa
I reported some time ago that some of us - visited the Vallejo City Council and took them all by surprise. We made one point that Lennar is a Rogue Company. As the days go by - we see Lennar declaring bankruptcy in Richmond, California. Friday's closing saw Lennar's Stocks and Shares at less then $12. Lennar is sinking and drowning in a cesspool of its own making.
Vallejo once served as the Capitol of California and its constituents have contributed a lot to this Nation. It is after all a Military Town that now because of the mistakes of corrupt politicians - has declared - bankruptcy.

With the closing of Base Closures in California - Mare Island suffered the consequences of Base Closure - as did the Presidio of San Francisco, the Naval Air Station at Alameda, Treasure Island, Fort Ord and a host of other bases.

Lennar has been pussyfooting in and around Mare Island and has done a poor job. Now, after 11 years it is pulling out - because it tried to fool too many people. And, one knows that you cannot fool all the people all the time.

Lennar is a Rogue Company that prides itself - building homes on toxic land.

Lennar will speak about clean up , mitigation, abatement - and do nothing about it.

Lennar has a track record of buying Regulatory Agencies off - and using Political forces to do what it takes to look the other way.

We saw Lennar do this in San Francisco. It bought the Environmental Protection Agency, the SF Health Department, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District and so on.

Bought off some Black Pastors to make vague statements. Now, we do not hear a word from Aurelious Walker, Calvin Jones, Bishop Green and others - the scum bags that worked with Lennar. The money is not flowing and the scum bags - are silent.

Our trip as I said to Vallejo was to check out - how astute the Vallejo City Council was and we saw that Lennar already had most of the Council Members - bought, lock, stock and barrel.

The same with San Francisco most of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors that voted for Lennar - in the famous 6-5 vote against the community - were bought. Rumors stated Lennar spent - over $100,000 to make this happen.

Just like Lennar Urban spent over $5 million on Proposition G - talking about Parks, Jobs, and Housing - and now have no money.

So where are the proponents of Proposition G - and where is all hype that was created. Even, Mayor Gavin Newsom seems to have been caught off guard. The liar that he is - he said that Lennar was capable of this, that and the other. So, why is Lennar declaring bankruptcy - here, there, and every where?

Slick as Lennar is - Lennar went to Sacramento asking for a $25 million loan and was turned down. In fact they were turned down three times - and we are going to Sacramento soon - to have a special meeting with the authorities that be.

Just like we visited Vallejo and states the facts - we will do the same in Sacramento and do better.

Earlier, Lennar through LandSource in Southern California wasted over $500 million of CALPERS money. This is retirement money belonging to the State of California and its employees.

As I said and have been saying Lennar is a Rogue Company that has the blessing of Mayor Gavin Newsom and Senator Diane Feinstein. Both pathetic losers.

Here is the report and some youtube videos from the Vallejo, City Council Meeting:
