Two hour Class: Lecture, Demonstration and Attendee Practice Workshop
Dancing toys? Transform your style of playing with toys through beat and dance. The class emphasis is on using impact toys in a percussive, rhythmic and spiritual flow style.
Additionally, it will cover developing an intention prior to play, how to create energetic flow with various toys, energy building with your play partner, maintaining mindfulness, and safety.
The first hour consists of a lecture with handouts, and demonstrations with a demo-model. In the second hour the attendees will engage in hands-on play with each other. Ms. Heart and her demo-model will assist attendees, answer individual play questions, and give tips.
Wear comfortable clothes, bring a few impact toys, (i.e. paddles, straps, slappers, crops, and canes etc), pillow and a small blanket/yoga mat. The class is designed for those who are already playing and wish to learn new impact play styles and techniques. For more information about the presenter: http://www.msheart-sf.com

Time: 8:00pm – 10:00pm (Doors open at 7:00)
Cost: $5– Janus members; $15– non–members (You do not need to be a member to attend).
ADA special services: Sign language (ASL) interpretation might be available by arrangement. Contact the organization directly at least two weeks before the workshop date and ask if they have a volunteer available. Bring your own coffee/water and snacks – Vending machine available.
