Community Organizes in Beach Flats to Denounce ICE Raids

On Friday May 30th, The Movement Immigrant Rights Alliance (MIRA) organized a rally and press release to denounce the ICE raids that took place last week. Community members, Union members, religious leaders, representatives from human rights organizations such as the resource center for non-violence and migrawatch were represented. Press packets where given to the press and students stuck around for immigrant rights educational workshop and flyer distribution.
