REMEMBERING JOHN BROWN ON HIS 208TH BIRTHDAY

John Brown - An American Revolutionary - 208th Birthday - May 9, 2008
Today is John Brown’s 208th Birthday. Its strange but you get the feeling most people want to forget about John Brown and the things he did to bring about the end of slavery. He was one abolitionist who included the black community in the development and implementation of initiatives to end slavery. He was a true radical and revolutionary who gave his life in the effort to end slavery.
