$30 million new bridge that is too narrow to use - in Supervisor Sophie Maxwell's district

Sophie Maxwell is a transplant that came into the Bayview Hunters Point area around 1996. Prior to that she was a resident of the Haight Ashbury area - and in making herself a resident of the Bayview Hunters Point - this woman (on the take ) has destroyed Bayview Hunters Point.

Under Sophie Maxwell's reign crime has gone up. Jobs are scare. People are losing their homes. Cumulative Pollution is high. Lennar continues to pollute and deceive the constituents of Bayview Hunters Point. Sophie Maxwell continues to make decisions that adversely impact thousands of innocent people.

I saw this woman encourage the SF Port, MUNI, SF Public Utilities Commission - to build three conduits to carry transmission lines at Marin and Illinois Street.

No soil assessment was made on this land prone to liquefaction - Sophie Maxwell has no clue about liquefaction, global warming, climate change - she has about money and lining her pockets.

No soil assessment was done and the Force Main that carries over 30 million gallons of treat sewage by Pier 80 was compromised. This was a major Health and Safety issue and the local papers did not carry the news.

The City sued the contractor but nothing much came of it.

As things stand today - the three conduit costing over $20 million are compromised and sit there like White Elephants. As for Sophie Maxwell - dumb as she is - she could not care less.

At Marin and Illinois Streets there is also a brand new inter-modal bridge - costing over $30 million. It has been there for some time now - it is too narrow to use.

Now,why would anyone build a bridge costing so much money - and fail to build it according to the required measurements. I have written about this bridge - complete with photographs but it is amazing - how in this rotten city the local newspapers - fail to do any investigative reporting.

After years of delay the bridge was suppose to be open for traffic last December, 2007. It is now May, 2008 - and nothing is happening.

Is this over $30 million inter-modal bridge going to be another White Elephant?

Now, Sophie Maxwell having not learned a thing - from the compromised conduits, the failure of the Force Main, and the brand new inter-modal bridge costing over $30 million - that cannot be used - it now opting for 3 Combustion Turbines to be placed on land that is also - prone to liquefaction.

When will this dumb, inept, arrogant woman who is the District 10 Supervisor - ever learn the fundamentals of infrastructure?

They say she is an Electrician - but I would not permit her to put up a Christmas Tree. The woman lacks the fundamentals of understanding the basic elements of how to address and more to make something happen that works right.

Why would anyone is the year 2008 opt for fossil fuel when it is no expensive?

Why would anyone help contribute to the Carbon foot print?

Why would anyone pollute the land and not address Cumulative pollution?

Right now in the Bayview Hunters Point - a Superfund site emits tons of Methane Gas. One ton of Methane Gas is equal to about 22 tons of Carbon Dioxide. Now, Sophie Maxwell would not know this, ignorant as she is - of this and many other things.

But, if we did have an educated Representative - he or she could have addressed the Cumulative Pollution that is killing daily - children and the elders.

Compromising Quality of Life issues. What is the Environmental Protection Agency doing about the harm done to the constituents of Bayview Hunters Point? What is the Bay Air Air Quality Management District doing? What is the SF Health Department doing? Rajiv Bhatia and Mitch Katz? Mayor Gavin Newsom and Senator Diane Feinstein? What about Speaker Nancy Pelosi?

Actions coming from Sophie Maxwell and her cronies continue to harm thousands of innocent people. Putting in harms way - thousands of folks that work and live in the area. A lot of them have mental and other problems having been exposed to the heavy metals, the radiological elements, and of course the dangerous particulates.

The proposed Fossil Fuel Combustion Turbines (CTs) will emit dangerous PM 2.5 too tiny to see and too harmful when inhaled and ingested. Children mostly will suffer.

The cooling system of the CTs will be cooled with Treated Sewage that has the high probability of spewing pathogens into the air. Very dangerous particles that are disease prone.

When will Sophie Maxwell learn to do better and listen to those that know better? I have never, ever seen a more foolish, arrogant, jackass of a woman in my life - like Sophie Maxwell.

The sista must be having more then one screw loose in that head of hers - and she was planted in politics by some Blacks - that back her for the sake of backing her.

Let Sophie reflect on what I have stated and the local newspapers have not:

1. The compromised conduits costing over $20 million that the public should know about.

2. The brand new $30 million bridge that everyone can see by Illinois and Marin and which
is too narrow and cannot be used as it was planned to be used.

3. The compromised Force Main that spewed raw sewage and created a health and safety
mess for months - costing the City - God alone how much.

4. Now, soon to come after many series of moronic decisions by Sophie Maxwell a former drab
Electrician - the placing of 3 Combustion Turbines - fusing expensive fossil fuel and
spewing PM 2.5 and pathogens into the air.

Give me a break - why is this City not opening its eyes and doing something about this woman
who does not have the ability to do anything - right.

What are our SF Board of Supervisors doing about this? Can any of them think - right?

What is the Controller Office doing about these issues? What is the Mayor doing about these issues?

How much money has the City and County of San Francisco lost on the above issues in litigation? I would say $15 million if not more.

Let us NOT have such nonsense take place at Candlestick Point.
