The Real Texas Chainsaw Massacres

by ntuit
Serial Killers, our state governments, begin their killing again
Recently I watched one in the series of Texas Chainsaw Murder movies. It is absurdly cruel and violent. Men and women are strapped to a table in the basement and their life is snuffed from them. The killer family prays at the dinner table and talks a lot about law and order and values that their victims frequently don’t have. The movie is fiction - sadistic cruel violence that is so absurd it is almost humorous.

In real life, there are others who would hold men and women years sometimes decades in cells waiting to kill them. In the end they are taken to a small room, like the torture chamber in the Texas Chain Saw Massacre, and their lives are snuffed out while people watch. Occasionally they still shave the victims head and then tie them to a chair and put thousands of volts of electricity into the human being. Sick, yes, fiction – no. It is the state prison system in the US and yesterday the serial killings began again in Georgia. Men and women who pray, raise families and are considered normal citizens are paid to kill another human being in a very ritualistic fashion. They then go home and eat dinner, sleep at night, after they kill, kiss their wives, hug their children, after they kill.

This is the gruesome reality in the U.S. – a nation which kills its citizens. And it kills them over and over again. If there ever was a serial killer it would have to be the states, the wardens, the guards, doctors, etc who participate in this orgy of killing. And don’t forget the self righteous governors and politicians. There have been thousands of these killings.

And just to get it right – there are certain killers the U.S. apparently doesn’t mind and certainly doesn’t execute. Like Luis Posada Carriles. He walks free in the U.S. after a history of murder and mayhem which included the bombing of a Cuban airliner in 1976 which led to the deaths of innocent men, women and children. He was another of our killers, either affiliated or associated with the CIA. Or how about Michael Townley, an ex CIA associate, who participated in the murder by car bombing of Chilean political leader Orland Letelier and his young associate Roni Moffitt? After a short stint in prison he walked away from prison and was put into a witness protection program. Premeditated murders on the streets of Washington, DC by Michael Townley and Chilean agents – and our intelligence agencies knew nothing.

And what about innocents whose lives have been snuffed out by the states? Yes, innocents have been executed, or might I say – murdered by the states. But apparently that’s ok, just messy and not something that needs to be brought up. It’s troubling and incongruent with the American self styled system of justice. So, so bothersome. But then, the Texas Chain Saw killer murdered innocents as well.
