Dept. of Environmental Protection, Technology, and Health (DEPTH)

Environmentalists should demand expansion of
our U.S. Cabinet, to include a
Department of Environmental Protection, Technology, and Health
(DEPTH).

At first, this department would consist mainly of the Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA).

Later, DEPTH should create an Institute for Evironmental Health (IEH),
to do scientific and technological research
on the health of the environment,
and environmental effects on human health.

We have ample precedent for this upgrade:
In 1988-89, the Veterans Administration was lifted up to Cabinet status,
as our new Dept. Of Veterans Affairs.

Shall we do less for our planet,
on which the great-grandchildren of our veterans
will struggle to survive?
