On Thurs, 4/17 Avid Reader Bookstore features speaker and discussion on how the chemical weapons manufacturers repackaged and sold toxic petro-chemicals to farmers and consumers and got us all hooked on the pesticide treadmill.

Chemical manufacturers have marketed toxic pesticides and fertilizers to American farmers for more than 150 years.
