Peter Scoblic, Executive Editor of The New Republic; Author, US vs. Them
Peter Scoblic believes that the past half-century has been marked by a conservatism that has undermined America's security. Scoblic's most recent book, US vs. Them, assesses the impact of the Bush administration's ideology on American foreign policy, which he believes poses a catastrophic threat to our future. He asks, how can we defend ourselves while restoring America's place in the world? How should our next president remedy the harm done? And which presidential candidate would do it best?
