Animal Liberationists' Busiest Month in Years
At least 15 Reported Actions in North America in January

Los Angeles - Led by activists in Mexico, but represented by cells all over the US and Canada as well, animal liberationists reported their most active month in years as they increasingly hold animal abusers responsible for their reprehensible actions against non-human beings. Most actions were claimed by members of the Animal Liberation Front, which utilizes both economic sabotage against those who abuse animals for profit and direct animal liberations from locations of continued torture.

In one of the most recent communiques received by the Animal Liberation Press Office last week, activists state:
"Monday night (jan 28, 2008) we payed another visit to 180 La Pata in San Clemente, CA. We redecorated with bright yellow paint and glued some locks. As Phenomenex continues to be a supplier we will continue to stop by. We used yellow paint just for you Farrajoulah. We figured that with all of this rain you might have been missing those gorgeous sunsets from that Palos Verdes estate that we a familiarizing ourselves with. See you there soon. (You won't see us.) Drop HLS just like all of the wise ones have."

and

"Tuesday night (jan 29, 2008) we payed another visit to 1014 Hillcrest, Inglewood CA. We redecorated with black paint and glued the locks. Hubnet, you are still working with HLS so we are still watching. We also hit the little blue Hubnet van out front with some paint. We didn't expect to see it out there otherwise it would have gone up in flames. Cut those HLS ties or you'll hear from us again. Count on it. In solidarity with those who put on the black ski masks and acted on Phenomenex in the Uk this week and for the animals suffering inside of Huntingdon Life Sciences."

Huntingdon Life Sciences (HLS) is Europe's largest animal testing company with laboratories in New Jersey and the United Kingdom. In five consecutive undercover investigations, they have been exposed to employ lab technicians simulating sex with the animals, punching beagle puppies, and violating numerous animal welfare regulations. The company kills 500 dogs and other animals every day testing such products as oven cleaners, pesticides, and pharmaceuticals. Before losing their NYSE listing two years ago, HLS lost their listing on the London Stock Exchange after UK campaigners exposed atrocities occurring inside HLS facilities.

In Mexico, an unprecedented ten attacks by the Mexican ALF in the past several weeks have set the bar for activists worldwide who struggle in the movement to liberate non-human animals from scenarios of unimaginable pain and suffering at the hands of uncaring humans. The circus, flesh-dealing restaurants, commercial farms, pet stores, and furriers have all been targeted in recent weeks in a country of compassionate activists that have tired of ineffective tactics.
