Peace and Freedom Party Candidate Forums
Statewide Events to Inform Voters About Peace and Freedom Party Candidates
The Peace and Freedom Party has been holding six presidential candidate forums during the weekend of January 11th through 13th to inform voters about their choices on the February 5th presidential preference primary ballot. The weekend kicked off with a Friday night candidate forum in Sacramento. Additional events took place in the Bay Area, Fresno, Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Diego. Voters who wish to register Peace and Freedom Party for the primary must do so by January 22nd in order to vote in the primary. The party points out that [eople who have completed a prison sentence are eligible to register to vote in California and 37 other states.

A forum was held in San Francisco on Saturday, January 12that the Brava Theater, from 1-4pm, followed by a social hour. A Fresno candidates' forum is taking place on Sunday, January 13th at 1:00pm. Gloria La Riva, Brian Moore, Stewart Alexander and John Crockford of Clovis have confirmed that they will be present. Other presidential candidates who are running on the Peace & Freedom Party ticket and have not confirmed are Cynthia McKinney, Ralph Nader, and Stanley Hetz.
