Stop proposed aerial spraying slated to begin in the Bay Area in early 2008
Aerial spraying of chemicals to eradicate the light brown apple moth (LBAM) has begun in Santa Cruz/Monterey counties and is planned here in early 2008. No testing has been done on the safety of these products and their aerial application on people or the environment. No documentation exists on the damage of the LBAM in the field. Many people have become sickened after aerial applications in Santa Cruz/Monterey counties. Looking for people who would be willing to deliver legislative packets to their lawmakers before the end of the year.
