Navy says it can account for its dust pollution - so why high counts with monitor HV12

The Navy decided to take on the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency (SFRA) the SF Health Department, and the rogue company Lennar BVHP LLC on issues pertaining to HV12 an Asbestos Monitoring Equipment and the heavy grading on Parcel A.

It is common for the equipment named HV12 to register very high Asbestos Structures - as much as 60,000 many times. The cap has been set at 16,000 structures per cubic meter.

So, when some astute community leaders asked why was HV12 not been given any consideration - and why was it registering such a high count - with no Project closures? It was suggested by some unethical folks working for the SF City and County of San Francisco - that the dust - most of it Asbestos in nature was migrating from Navy jurisdiction.

Well, at the Restoration Advisory Board meeting held December 6, 2007 at the Southeast Commission Facility in the Bayview at 1800 Oakdale Avenue - the Navy came out strong and asserted its right - and plainly denied that it was the author of any migrating dust and HV12.

The Navy explained in detail the wind monitoring equipment it has and how it registers the data.

The Navy also explained how it has collected data linked to Asbestos Structures, and other heavy metals - but has not encountered any exceedences - at least none to enforce - the stoppage of work and adverse impact to its work force - its primary concern.

So, now that we have it - in as clear terms as possible - the onus of the proof lies with Lennar BVHP LLC in general - but Arc Ecology who claims it is working for the community and the SF Health Department - that has been looking at the community - straight in the eye and lying all these many years.

Minister Christopher Muhammad from the Nation of Islam - tried to set the record straight but some entities thought his questions were too direct and the tone too harsh.

The community did not feel that it was so - and as far as the adjudication of the matter was concerned - the community felt that justice was done to their concerns and through its recognized leader. The applause said it all - but it fell of deaf ears on the Facilitator - Marsha Pendergrass.

The Hunters Point RAB is the only one that has a paid Facilitator - Marsha Pendergrass - who has in the past and on December 6, 2007 - behaved as an agent for the City and County of San Francisco - create "static" where there was none - using her position to silence qualified questions, concerns - and divide the community.

This facilitator thinks that sound questions could not come from the community and more NOT from an African American.

But, she has been proved wrong many times - but being so close to White Cream and Fluff - she finds it difficult to take it straight and experience genuine Black.

Nothing much has changed from the days on the plantation - and having a facilitator that puts the community of color down - is a sign of the times.

The worse enemy that can undermine any community are the moles, the sell outs within - and here is one example - using a harsh attitude to silence - genuine concern linked to the suffering and adversely impacted - community.

The RAB under this facilitator will permit minimum Public Comment - and in doing so has done injustice to a fair and just process.

We now know that HV12 has been directly registering Asbestos Structures from activities on Parcel A.

Little dust if ever has been migrating from the Navy land parcels- B, C, D, and E.

The SF Health Department has been on the take - patronizing Lennar BVHP LLC and undermining the community and causing adverse impacts to the constituents at ground zero.

Our fight continues and Minister Christopher Muhammad against great odds - set the record straight.

Of course SF Redevelopment Agency does not believe in fair play and justice. Less so Lennar BVHP LLC - the rogue company that loves to build on toxic soil. In one recent case - moved soil from another site - complete with unexploded bombs that could explode at at any time near schools and homes built by Lennar Corporation.

Lennar BVHP LLC is encouraging the de-population of the Bayview Hunters Point. Mayor Gavin Newsom, the SF Redevelopment Agency, the SF Health Department - are all genuine parties against the community of color - and more African Americans.
