UC led the overall review that led the California Secretary of State to decertify the Diebold and other voting machines. A computer science expert at UC Davis led the “red teams” in carrying out the successful— and we use here the actual, correct Computer Science technical term— penetration effort as part of— again, using their terminology— the Secretary’s “top to bottom” review (TTBR).
