Join us tomorrow, Wednesday, October 24, at Chicano Park as community members continue to collect supplies and reach out to others in the community. Please join us at Chicano Park 9:00 am if you want to help. We plan to be there from 9:00a.m. until at least 6:00p.m.

More than 100 truck loads of donations were received today at Chicano Park. They are continuing to send donated supplies to Qualcomm, South Bay, North County, the East and other drop off sites.

Several trips to the migrant camps where many continued to work in fields until the end of work day. They continued to work in with horrific air conditions, while surrounding millionaires were advised to leave with reverse 911 calls. Most migrants refused to leave with out there fellow workers.

It is an outrage that while some volunteers and migrants were in the North County migrant camps while Mercedes and Jaguars raced out of area, our migrant brothers continued to work the land and received no warning or aid from city officials besides ours.
