Title: PROTEST/EXPOSE Nonie Darwish & "Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week"
START DATE: Monday October 22
TIME: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Location Details:
UC Berkeley, 10 Evans Hall
Event Type: Protest
Join us in exposing, politically confronting, deflating and defeating "Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week"(IFAW) at this local event.

Nonie Darwish, author of "Now They Call Me Infidel" and spokesperson for "Arabs for Israel," will be speaking at UC Berkeley as part of IFAW.

As justification for continuing and expanding the "War on Terror" at home and abroad, Nonie Darwish will paint a hateful picture of Islam and Palestinians in particular. This must be challenged, exposed, and politically confronted.

For more on IFAW, see Youtube video:

Nonie darwish is a feminist author. Listen to her first, then decide. Her book talks says nothing that demonizes the Palestinians. It is critical of certain aspects of Islamic life- for example she points out that polygamy damges womens relations with each other. There are several copies of her book at Doe- read them first before you do anything disruptive or embarrassing.
