KFCF 88.1 FM Radio Show about the Homeless in Fresno
by Mike Rhodes ( MikeRhodes [at] comcast.net )
Friday Sep 28th, 2007 10:07 PM
This is a radio interview about homeless issues in Fresno.

Al Williams, Cynthia Green, Michael Risher, and Kelly Borkert talk about homeless issues in Fresno on the Street Heat radio show, which was on KFCF 88.1 FM, Friday, September 28. Al and Cynthia are homeless - they are two of the named plaintiffs in the lawsuit against the City of Fresno. Michael Risher is an attorney from the ACLU who is working on the case. The lawsuit is now a Class Action suit which seeks to stop the city from taking and destroying homeless peoples property. It also seeks to compensate homeless people who have had their property destroyed when the city used bulldozers to destroy homeless encampments. Kelly Borkert works with Food Not Bombs. Jean Hays, the coordinator of the local Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom, was the host.
