"Slouching from Jerusalem: From Le Chambon to Oradour, reflections on a summer's journey"

Space is limited for these informal gatherings so RSVP's are requested. Scott will share some photos and evolving reflections on his summer travels, including visits to Israel, Palestine, Turkey, Ireland, and France. Central to his commentary will be impressions gained from visits to Le Chambon-sur-Lignon, the French village that helped save thousands of Jewish children from the Nazis during WWII, and Oradour-sur-Glane, a French village that has been preserved as it was the morning after the Nazis murdered all inhabitants.
