Girl Army Presents:
Self-Defense Six Week Basic Course, for women and trans folks! In this 6-week class, you'll get a thorough foundation in physical and psychological self-defense techniques for a single unarmed attacker.
When: September 23rd - November 4th
6 Sundays, 1pm – 4pm
No class Sept 30th
Where: Class will be at Suigetsukan Dojo, 103 International Blvd, in Oakland near Lake Merritt. Lake Merritt BART stops within a 10-minute walk of the dojo.
How: Pre-Registrations encouraged. Please call 510.496.3443 to pre-register. (You can also simply show up on the first day of
class--but we'd like to know how many students we'll have!)
Cost: Class fee is sliding scale, $0-$100. No one turned away for lack of funds, really!
Who: Girl Army is a collective dedicated to peer taught, physical and psychological self-defense. We are committed to providing a supportive space for women and trans folks of all cultures.
