Lennar BVHP LLC has moved millions of tons of dirt and adversely harmed the public.

by Francisco Da Costa
Lennar BVHP LLC has moved millions of tons of toxic dirt from Parcel A and adversely impacted thousands. In recent days Lennar BVHP LLC has had exceedences of 46,000 structures per cubic meter at Griffith and Navy and more in other areas around Parcel A. The Bay Area Air Quality Management District continues to look the other way and fails every time to do its duty. Joining them the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Agency for Toxic, Substances, and Disease Registry (ATSDR) among other incompetent Regulatory Agencies.
The community has been complaining and hundreds have been rushed to hospital but the Regulatory Agencies simply do not get it.

Millions of tons of toxic dirt have been moved on Parcel A - East and West and adversely impacted thousands.

Now the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) has joined the others and harmed thousands by not doing their duty.

Friday, August 17, 2007 there was a reading of over 46,000 structures per cubic meter and the BAAQMD was not aware of this pertinent fact.

In fact there were other readings above 33,000 and the cap is 16,000.

Lennar BVHP LLC at this late date continues to defy the constituents that live and work in and around Parcel A.

It is amazing the amount of dirt Lennar BVHP LLC has moved and some of it through the community with truckers moving toxic dirt and failing to cover the toxic dirt.

Harmed workers that do not use protective gear. The California Occupation Safety and Health Agency gave Lennar BVHP LLC a waiver - and the one responsible I hear is one named Cora Gherga from California OSHA.

It is difficult for anyone to get a waiver from having the required Asbestos Certificates and training and here this woman went out of her way to grant a waiver.

The experts I have spoken to - cannot get it - but money and greed works wonders when the devil is at work. Lennar BVHP LLC should be ashamed of itself and its dubious actions.

Our children and elders are dying and no one seems to give a hoot or shall I say damn.
