Can SF Pride practice tolerance ?

by SeniorUnlimitedNudes (nakity [at] yahoogroups.com)
( by allowing nude peace demonstrators at SF Pride Festival;
after the parade? )
....
Open letter to SF Pride:

For several years now, Senior Unlimited Nudes (SUN)
of SF has been demonstrating nude4peace at peace
marches, arts and queer and leather events,
Bay2Breakers, and various festivals, including
the SF Pride Festival.

No California state law prohibits mere nudity.
(Our state's lewd exposure law, PC 314, only
prohibits nudity which is done "lewdly".)
The district
attorney, the Hon. Kamala Harris, understands this.
Thus she declines to prosecute nude demonstrators who
are mistakenly arrested [....].

Some festival managers tolerate
our expressions of
freedom and peace.
Some others encourage police to
violate
our civil rights and liberties.

Which path will the Pride board and officers choose?
Freedom or censorship?

We merely ask SF Pride to TOLERATE our political
activities on 23-24 June 2007, in the festival area.
We don't ask for acceptance or approval,
merely that
queers tolerate us.

Please ask the SFPD to respect the First Amendment.
