Nominations Due May 31, 2007
The Agape Foundation proudly announces its call for nominations for its 3rd Annual Peace Prize. This Prize is given in recognition of Northern California individuals and organizations that provide voice and leadership as peacemakers and agents of social change.

Nominations must be received by 5 pm (Pacific Daylight Time) on Thursday, May 31, 2007.

Two Agape Foundation Peace Prizes will be awarded on Thursday,September 20, 2007, in San Francisco, California (on the eve of UN International Day of Peace on September 21).

THE ENDURING VISIONARY PRIZE*
Honoring a Northern California peacemaker who has made a sustained effort to create peace in their community, nationally, or internationally. The Enduring Visionary Prize recipient will excel
in inspiring others, sustaining progress, and achieving a measurable impact.
* Formerly called the Long Haul Prize

THE RISING PEACEMAKER PRIZE
Recognizing a peacemaker making a critical difference who has been working for peace for five years or less. With courage, commitment,and creativity, the rising peacemaker will engage in progressive change and inspire others to do the same.

Prize
The Agape Foundation Peace Prize winners will receive: $750 Cash,Inclusion in Peace Prize media activities, tickets to the Agape Foundation Peace Prize Ceremony on September 20, 2007, in San Francisco, capacity building support from Bay Area experts and trainers in such areas as Fundraising, Media and Public Relations, Event Planning, Financial Planning and Budgeting, Building and maintaining a Board of Directors.

Complete the Nomination Form online found at http://www.agapefdn.org
(please note that nominees cannot self-nominate).

Nominations must be received no later than 5:00 pm, Thursday, May 31, 2007.

Timeline
May 31: Nominations must be received by 5:00 pm.
July 15: The Enduring Visionary Prize winner will be notified.
Three finalists for the Rising Peacemaker Prize will be notified.
September 20: The Agape Foundation Peace Prizes will be awarded at a special ceremony in San Francisco.
