Peninsula | Immigrant RightsImmigrant Rights: Thousands March in Mountain View
Thousands marched in an Immigrant Rights March in Mountain View, CA on May 1, 2007. The rally was organized by the Day Worker Center of Mountain View. The Raging Grannies sang and speakers included Maria Marroquin, Executive Director of the Day Worker Center of Mountain View and RoseMary Roquero, Trustee of The Whitman/Mtn View School District. Both Maria and RoseMary are members of the Raging Grannies Action League.

The rally began at the Day Worker Center and continued to City Hall Plaza. Day Workers and Raging Grannies marched together in solidarity chanting along the way
