Washington DC Congressman Tom Tancredos Office Blessed and Named a Holy Sanctuary
for Immigrants All Over the World


On April 26, 2007 members of United Voices for United Families, who work out of
Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission Church in Chicago, Illinois, traveled to Washington
DC to the office of one of the most ant-immigrant Congressman in the United States
of America, Congressman Tom Tancredo.

The group consisted of 10 members, women, men and children who had a scheduled
appointment with the congressmans office. They met with Legislative Assistant
Andrew Good to discuss the issue of the mixed status families in America and to
bring a very important message. The group knowing that Congressman Tancredo has a
very racist reputation when it comes to Latino immigrants and the issue of
Comprehensive Immigration Reform still choose to bring him a message of truth.
Isabel Beltran a member of United Voices for United Families stated, If he could
only look into these childrens eyes when their parents are taken away This is
all wrong, we are Americans, and the raids must stop!

The message was brought to the Congressman as a people of faith. The group
traveled with Father Jose Landeverde from Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission. Inside
of the office the celebration of the Holy Eucharist was performed, all
participated even Mr. Andrew Good, Legislative Assistant to Congressman Tancredo.
During the Celebration of the Eucharist the office was declared a Holy Sanctuary
for all immigrants around the world.

In the name of our Lord and Savior we bless this office and declare this to be a
Holy Sanctuary for all immigrants around the world!  Proclaimed Father Jose
Landeverde during the Holy service.

The campaign will continue to take the message of family unity through prayer and
faith before other political figures in the hopes to send a message and appeal to
them as men and women of faith. We prayed and asked God to remove the demon of
racism from Congressman Tancredos office. We will continue to take this message

An official Holy Certificate verifying the Office of Congressman Thomas Tancredo
located at 1131 Longworth Building, Washington DC 20515 is a Holy Sanctuary, will
be mailed to the congressmans office early next week.
