May 12 in Monterey, war resisters Camilo Mejia, Agustin Aguayo

On Saturday, May 12th
San Francisco Bay Area Veterans for Peace Chapter 69,
Hartnell Students for Peace (a new organization),
The Salinas Action League,
The Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom
and others
are pleased to bring to our area Camilo Meija and Agustin Aguayo.
These courageous men will be speaking about their experiences in Iraq,
and why they chose to face prison rather than return to this illegal and immoral war.

Camilo Mejia will also be signing a book he has just written:
“Road from Ar Ramadi: the Private Rebellion of Staff Sergeant Mejía”

This will be Agustin’s first appearance since his release from prison.

Please attend this important fund raising event
at the Unitarian Universalist Church
490 Aguajito Rd. Monterey
Saturday, May 12th at 7pm.
Proceeds from this event will be used to support the important work these men
are doing in our name; in the name of peace and justice.

If your organization would like to cosponsor this event,
please let me know at the earliest opportunity.
Your only obligation as a sponsor would be to talk this event up in your communities.
