Below are the six programs
that folks have laid out so far for us to work on in SF.

We are very excited about all the response so far!! There are such fantastic people there ready to make things happen!!

By the way, we just moved into a much larger location for our national office in Oakland. We are growing so fast!!

* Launching six programs *:.

1. Know Your Rights and Responsibility Trainings at high schools, regarding police interactions, in partnership with the Idriss Stelley Foundation.

2. Initiating a Youth Center similar to Youth Uprising in Bay View Hunters Point (Ron Dellums has committed to opening 3 more in Oakland)

3. Opening a school and/or providing funding to support SF graduates who are students of color looking to become educators in SF (Mark and Eric's initiative)

4. Working to bring ENI's 4-point plan on pushouts to SF schools (end expulsions and suspensions, create youth and family centers, cultural competency training for educators, access to higher education or a living wage job).

5. Vigils for Peace in SF (focused on violence in the SF community)

6. Supporting United Educators of San Francisco in planning a conference on discipline for students.
