Tell Us About Your Health Care Nightmare

by Working Families e-Activist Ntwk
The Working America program, "In the Heart of the Health Care Hustle," gives us a way to talk about why the health care system is broken--and gives us a way to do something about it.
Have you ever gotten caught in the "health care hustle?" Have you experienced long waits in an emergency room or high bills that weren't covered by your health insurance? Have you gotten pinched in the hustle of hospitals and insurance companies, pharmaceutical giants and doctors out to make a buck?

Click here (http://www.unionvoice.org/ct/E7ahCH51qPUy/) to share your story with us in a program by Working America, the community affiliate of the AFL-CIO.

Right now, we're facing a health care crisis. Nearly 47 million U.S. residents have no health insurance, and the number keeps rising. That's 47 million people who face bankruptcy if they get sick--or who might avoid seeking treatment altogether.

The Working America program, "In the Heart of the Health Care Hustle," gives us a way to talk about why the health care system is broken--and gives us a way to do something about it.

Even if you're lucky enough not to have a health care nightmare to share, you can still participate. Choose the stories that make the biggest impact on you with our easy-to-use system. Then forward these stories to the real bad guys--the pharmaceutical industry, the trade associations, the Bush administration--anyone who thinks that the sound of health care is "cha-ching!"

Working people shouldn't have to hustle between work, family and school, trying to avoid getting sick. Help us stop the "health care hustle."

Thank you for all your work.
