took 4 days to select the jury, hold a trial and sentence Chip to the gas chamber in 1969. Chip was a member of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Black Panther Party for Self Defense.
In 1972 that murder sentence was overturned and commuted to Life with parole. By law he should have been released 15-20 years ago.
