TONIGHT: The Future of Green Energy

by Anne T. Greenwash (dirtytruth (AT) letsgreenwashthiscity.org)
Flaunting the Future of Green Energy and shaming PG&E!

So here's the deal: The Commonwealth club (local liberal institution) is having a fundraiser tonight with the theme: The Future Of Green Energy. They are honoring a bunch of great people, and there will be a bunch of energy conscious SF liberals in the audience.

However... they are also featuring a panel discussion with PG&E's CEO, Peter Darbee. No doubt this is part of the multi-million dollar PR campaign that is greenwashing this city to the detriment of hard-won green legislation that is still yet to be implemented.

THIS IS A PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO SHOW UP PG&E (yet again) AND RIGHTEOUSLY PARADE ABOUT THE EVENT ADVOCATING FOR COMMUNITY CHOICE ENERGY!

We need to let San Francisco and PG&E know that the future of green energy is Solar and Wind, not Nuclear and Natural Gas!

We have chosen a futuristic theme, so dress up if you can!

WHEN:
5:30 p.m. today!
WHERE:
The Fairmont San Francisco, 950 Mason St. , San Francisco
WHAT: Flaunting the Future of Green Energy and shaming PG&E
we'll be out there for a couple of hours, so show up late if that's all the time that you have!

-\nfor the sake of space, I didn't include all of our excellent arguments\nfor why this is important, why PG&E sucks, and why Community Choice\nEnergy is a really concrete, important piece of legislation to see\nthrough. Energy politics are fascinating and massively important to\nanyone that wants to consume responsibly. Please check out our website if you are interested in hearing more:
