This event will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the landmark 1987 study by the United Church of Christ's Commission for Racial Justice, Toxic Wastes and Race, by Dr. Robert Bullard, Paul Mohai, Robin Saha, and Beverly Wright. Youth from East Palo Alto who have been waging a campaign against Romic, a negligent toxic waste facility in their community will join the presentation as part of their 43 Years Too Much Too Long campaign, 43 weeks of action representing every year that Romic has operated in the community.
