Supporters hold vigil through day 2 of Lt. Watada trial at Fort Lewis
FORT LEWIS, WA (February 7, 2007) -- Courage to Resist, Tacoma Puppetistas, and the Olympia Movement for Justice and Peace held vigil at the gates of Fort Lewis during day 2 of Lt. Watada's court martial for publicly refusing to deploy to Iraq. Folks will continue to vigil at 4 pm at I-5 Exit 119 through Friday. A larger candle light vigil and rally is schedule for Friday evening 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Report from inside the courtroom and rally details to be posted soon at Courage to Resist.
