DEMOCRATS=FAKES

More of the Same From the Democrats or might I say Republicrats
For those who think the Democratic Party has the answers, here are some of the latest shenanigans which only goes to prove that we have a true one party system: The Republicrats.

RON DELLUMS INAUGURAL CORPORATE FEST

Showing his independence and grass roots appeal, Ron Dellums starts off his term with extravagant inauguration ceremonies sponsored by the following major corporations:

AT&T, Kaiser Permanente, Comcast, TV One, HMSHost, Port of Oakland, Safeway, Clorox, Chevron-Texaco, Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco

Also, in order to open the doors of city hall to the poor and disenfranchised, tickets to the inaugural galas can be had at $150 each.

Apparently, Ron’s lobbyist days have caused him to loose total contact with the reality of the average American or Oaklander.

I don’t know about you but I get sick just looking at the corporate sponsor list. Why didn’t he just keep in simple and cheap – they way we need to run our government. If these corporations were properly taxed and our schools, libraries and health care were properly funded, maybe they wouldn’t have so much extra money to give to charities, to influence our elected leaders or to sponsor some unnecessary bash. It seems like more and more our local leaders have such a grandiose vision of themselves and their cities. Remember the $350 million spent on refurbishing Willie Brown’s city hall. Why can’t we get back to the basics – basic services and reasonable cost? Not all of this mega this and mega that with celebrities and all that jazz. Have we lost our common sense?

NANCY PELOSI REMAKE AS CATHOLIC GIRL FROM BALTIMORE (NOT SAN FRANCISCO)

In an effort to distance her from the “liberal” San Francisco and from the people who put her in office, Washington Democrat PR spin masters are recreating Nancy as a wholesome Catholic girl from Baltimore with roots in middle America. Talk about turning your back on the person who brought you to the ball.
"A lot of people don't know much about her, so this is a chance to fill in her profile and biography so she doesn't just become the San Francisco liberal,'' said San Francisco consultant Chris Lehane, a veteran of the Clinton-Gore White House. "This is the one time when the press will be focusing on it.''

DEMOCRATIC PARTY STALWART WILLIE BROWN MC’S SCHWARZENNEGER INAGURAL FEST

Funny but Schwarzenegger isn’t a democrat. But the celebrity, lime light loving ex mayor who had been supported by the Democratic Party since the beginning, can apparently turn his back on the party for his Hollywood, celebrity cronies. Who knows how much the inaugural cost and what corporate sponsors elbowed their way or just ran over the average citizen to sit at the table with Arnold. One group paid $50,000 a table just to spend some time with Arnold. How many average Americans can do that or have that kind of access? Arnold stinks and so does his friend Willie Brown. Yes, they are friends of each other but not of the people.

DON PERATA (ALA WILLIE BROWN) SHOWERS HIGH PAID GOVERNMENT POSITIONS ON HIS POLITICAL CLASS FRIENDS

Is government the business of taking care of the people of our country, or taking care of the friends and cronies of the politicians? You guess? Following Willie Brown and other political ilk, undefeatable Don Perata awards his “special” political friends with well paid cozy board jobs in state government.

If we the people could only be so lucky that Perata would represent our interests as well as his political friends and family. Can’t the FBI nail anything on this guy or do we have to wait until term limits in 2008? Meanwhile, we pay the $4 bridge tolls and other great Perata initiatives. They take the money from our pockets and give the money to themselves.
