Detectives Endowment Association President Michael J. Palladino last week blasted labor officials who attended a recent rally organized by the Rev. Al Sharpton to protest the police shooting in Queens that killed Sean Bell and injured two of his friends.

Good cops don't approve of renegade massacres, but organizations like the DEA and the FOP exist to protect the BAD COPS. If you haven't noticed, the fund raising drive by the FOP accelerated in the wake of the Sean Bell shooting, and guess why? It's bad enough they're spending money to bury Mumia, and sue Cynthnia McKinney, but now this. Worse yet, the police representative who alleged to call me from a "call center" in Champaign-Urbana sounded like an Afro-American And that is only the beginning.

Minutes prior to the call, I logged a visit to my site request this story:

That by itself is nothing, and could be merely a coincidence. But the http referer was google search for the exact name of that story + PHONE NUMBER.

The IP adress was from the IP block assigned to the Urbana campus of the University of Illinois - the location where I obtained documents for a previous story:

You're not reading this in the NYT, and every word can be proven, some with the help of their immense archives which include the history of the Duran family since their arrival in New York from the Dominican Republic. Their adventures in drugs and prostitution continue unabated in a building where their Colombian landlord is expressly forbidden to operate a nightclub. The real DEA knows about this, recognizes its extent, and bemoans their inability to do anything about it.

Why?

This sounds too much like the whitewash laid down by FBI Inspector General Glenn Fine, who admitted that Gary Webb knew enough to get himself killed by infamous coke dealers, but not enough to prove their links to the Iran-Contra criminals. Here are the files from the DOJ:

My personal experience is only one minor instance of systematic, nationally networked harrassment by the FOP and other police organizations funded by YOUR DONATIONS. The FOP story linked above is more dramatic, and there is at least one related case pending on the ACLU website.

Next time they call you, take advantage of the opportunity to sound off. They deserve your moral support.

Investigations are apparently underway in New York cty where these "fraternal organizations" are worried about candid statements their members might make. For one thing, the public leak about Sean Bell's alleged intoxication with something other than lead was a violation of federal law. Mr. Palladino vehemently denies that any member of his organization would do such a thing. But who else could?

Additionally, one of the reasons why drugs and other vices are so widespread in the neighborhood where Bell was murdered is due to the participation of the vice cops themselves. The "Club Kalua", Kalua Cabaret" and it's predecessors run by the Duran family have enjoyed a unique and profitable relationship with officers of the NYPD. Yet when the scandals blow over. they rise again like the legendary Pheonix. How can it be that they were still in operation even as recently as November 25, 2006? Regardless, the DEA is telling their boys to take the 5th, and protect THEIR rights. Tell me, what happens when a citizen refuses to answer spontaneous interrogation by the police? I've been threatened on occasion merely for asking them for a badge number. Ask the survivors of the shooting how they were treated - it is a matter of public record. And harrassment continues in the neighborhood of the crime scene. This should be an easy task, because the area is so flooded with drugs that the police can pick up anyone on the street in Jamaica with reasonable suspicion that they are holding.

It is too bad that Gary Webb is dead. Who will rise to the occasion and fill in the missing links here? It does seem that an agenda of population control has indeed been achieved, by flooding Janaica, Queens with cocaine dealt by Dominican DTOs who recieve delivery of the goods from Colombians under the NOSE of the Port Authority.

Oh yes, there ought to be investigations under way if they are not already. But do we hear any leaks about anything other than Sean Bell?

"...there are several investigations currently being conducted jointly by the Internal Affairs Bureau of the New York City Police Department and the Federal Government. In connection with these probes, members of IAB, along with an agent (or agents) of a federal law enforcement agency (or several agencies) have approached members of the service, either at work or at home, in attempt to question them.

Despite repeated admonitions to the contrary, some members continue to participate in these interrogations without benefit of counsel. As your Counsel, I cannot emphasize strongly enough that it is imperative that you consult with our office prior to speaking with the investigators."

The full story is big enough to have resulted in a PUBLIC MESSAGE by trained killers of the "DEA" whose "code of silence" is strictly enforced.
