The Federal Preventative Police is expanding its operations into the surrounding towns around Oaxaca City. Today they have conducted a raid into Zaalchia, 11 kilometers outside of Oaxaca City. Zaalchia has been an APPO stronghold since they removed the mayor and the police months ago by popular force. The raid into Zaalchia was fought back but the PFP was able to arrest 4 teachers.

In another incursion into Ocatlan the PFP entered the schools and ordered the terrified children to leave. They have also been conducting raids into houses in Alzompa, Rosario and Santa Rosa.

In a massive operation into an anarchist community squat project (Ocupa Oaxaca) in Colonia Reforma the PFP has arrested 8 individuals.
