The length of his incarceration is virtually unprecedented for a journalist refusing to hand over information to a grand jury. Wolf’s attorneys are asking for his immediate release or at minimum, a furlough for the Thanksgiving holidays. A hearing on the matter is scheduled for tomorrow: Wolf was incarcerated earlier this year for contempt after refusing to hand over his unedited video of a 2005 protest in San Francisco’s Mission District. WHEN: Tuesday, November 21, 2006, at 2 p.m. WHERE: Courtroom 9 U.S. District Court, Northern District of California San Francisco Division 450 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco More information can be found at http://www.joshwolf.net.
