SF Hall of Shame Chronicles

The Passion of Gavin:
Hypocrisy award of the year

(SF Mayor Newsom washing Homeless feet while increasing Homeless Sweeps in Golden Gate Park...)

So our glamor Boah SF Mayor Gavin Newsom is postulating for sainthood, pending canonization, emulating Jesus Christ, as read in the SF Chronicle:

" Newsom said with a laugh, he doesn't get tired washing the feet of homeless people, which he has done so many times now at his bimonthly Project Homeless Connect gatherings that hardly anybody really notices it any more"

while as pointed in the SF Examiner, screaming contradiction:

"New push by Mayor Gavin Newsom to make Golden Gate Park more like New York's Central Park, with its immaculate opens spaces and low crime rate. The endeavor is the latest development in Newsom's attempt to tackle San Francisco's homeless problem, which began with his Care Not Cash homeless-welfare reform initiative before he became mayor"

Let me get this straight...???

St Gavin is a passionate fighter for "Immaculate Parks", therefore must make the homeless conveniently disappear.

Mama Bessie Berger, 94, homeless, in a wheelchair is not allowed to enjpy sunshine in Golden Gate Park, constantly harassed and terrorized by SFPD.

A young homeless Brother in Golden Gate Park, was savagely attacked by Park Station officers during his sleep 2 weeks ago...

Hmmm... Isn't this reminiscent of St Junipero Sierra, canonized by Pope John XXIII, who killed thousands of indigenous people who did not want to "convert" on his bloody trail, carving his righteous White Spaniard way through Kalifa? Why does this suddenly smell like the Krusades ?

On a lighter note, St. Gavin still comes to SF Bayview Hunters Point to play (ad nauseam) ball with our kids, his charismaric way to show us how to end violence and gang wars.
(Did anyone tell him yet that ALL that our kids can do with their time is to play ball, with or without his benediction, since there are practically no jobs to better use their time and to get them out of crime as survival mean?)
Yet, St Gavin, heading his Homeland Security, CHP and SFPD Holy Krusaders, is launching the "300 Bayview Youth Terrorist" crackdown, triumphant open manhunt season, arrest of Young Tyrelle Taylor. for starters.

St.Gavin, will you still come and play ball with the scarce survivors of your ethnic Kleansing Holy War?

But nothing must stop the motion of the glamorous and upper class Kulture of San Francisco, the Olympic Bid Dream is glittering through the fog, the embarrasing and unsightly Poor people of Color and the Homeless must be swiftly hidden away or done away with, the end justifies the means

Is wannabe sainthood the ultimate shield against accountability? Did we suffer from auditory hallucinations when Gavin grandiosely vowed to step out of office if he did not succeed in reducing the crime rate in San Francisco a year ago? Gavin, your aura is on fire, increasingly smelling of sulphur...

Should we start thinking about a touristic boycott? Is the rest of the liberal world going to patronize Olympics in SF that is criminalizing the poor, Black and Brown, and legitimizing ethnic cleansing? Katrina in San Francisco?

POWER TO THE PEOPLE ! Food for thoughts Yall, food for thoughts.
