B.I.K.E.
Friday October 6th, 8:00pm In the film B.I.K.E., Anthony Howard began to make a film about New York’s Black Label Bicycle Club and found himself vying to become a member of the group. Black Label is known for living a lifestyle centered on building bikes together, riding, eating, and sometimes living together. Black Label is more than just a bike club or a lifestyle – it is life. This is a rare look at a way of life that may challenge your own. In Caravan Prague, an anarchist bicycle caravan searches for the intersection of Utopia and Everyday Life while riding five-hundred miles across Europe to a protest against the IMF/World Bank. PLUS a Mystery Ride, bike valet parking, intermission, urban wasteland, and great company. BRING lawn chairs, blankets, pillows, friends, wine, & food to share for intermission. Donations are greatly appreciated and directly support the project.
SUBURBAN WASTELAND LOCATION: S on Hwy 17 to Hwy 1, Hwy 1 north to Mission St, L on Fair Ave after Feral Donuts, walk a short way along the RR tracks to the right.
