Details are slowly leaking out over the mainstream press of ICE immigration raids in the Sacramento are that have picked up 107 people for immigration ‘violations’ as part of operation ‘return to sender’, the government’s propagandic and disgusting campaign to tear apart families and keep people of color living in fear. In a world where of ‘globalization’, the government wants anything but that. The free and unrestricted movement of people and goods across borders is a farcical ploy by the capitalist PR machine to justify the exploitation of the third world and not be held accountable. We can see that borders, meaningless and arbitrary lines drawn across the world by governments that are absolutely detached from the populations of people that reside in them, are being used as excuses for the repression of immigrants and to maintain a state of fear for people who are looking to escape a world that the United States has destroyed through neoliberal economic policies.

98 people from Sacramento have already been “returned to sender”, a.k.a. had their lives destroyed and families ripped apart to add fuel to crooked politicians’ re-election campaigns. These disgusting people who claim to represent us (I never consented to being represented) are carry out wretched crimes against humanity and are totally detached from the reality of the lives of immigrants.

Government is disgusting. It shows its true face in its cold and calculated actions. It fights its wars over wealth and domination by sending the poorest classes of society to fight the poor of other countries. It uses the putrid lie of nationalism to motivate those who have nothing to fight in defense of capitalism. Government is a heartless beast. The puppeteers who control its strings need to be held accountable.

The raids need to be resisted. Movements of support for those affected by the round-up and deportation of immigrants need to be created, strengthened, and sustained. Solidarity has no borders. A war is being waged against the poor, and it is time to fight back.
