Boycott Air America Radio
Popular Air America talk show host Mike Malloy was fired by Air America August 30 because he speaks too much truth to power. Progressive Americans who value free speech should boycott Air America unless and until Malloy is rehired. A petition which now has more than 14,000 signatures is available on the Internet.
I spent almost $200 a couple of months ago to acquire XM Satellite Radio technology SPECIFICALLY to hear Mike Malloy each night. I did this after the Atlanta Avondale Estates station on which I had been listening to him dropped Malloy because he did not kowtow to Zionists in this sick nation.
I had listened to Mike each night since getting the XM radio and was relieved and overjoyed when he announced recently that his contract with Air America had been renewed.
I do not know the specifics of why he is off the air and replaced by boring if well-meaning Thom Hartmann, but unless Malloy is reinstated, I will cancel my subscription to XM radio immediately and pack my radio in its box until there is something on XM worth listening to. Their recent programming changes have all been bad ones from my perspective. Without Malloy, there truly is nothing left on XM for me.
Randi Rhodes is okay, if grating on one's nerves eventually.
But Thom Hartmann and Al Franken, among others, are not worth my time and I will never seek their commentary out.
Mike Malloy is the only man I've ever heard on the U.S. news media who has the intestinal fortitude to tell the unvarnished truth about where this nation is going and what role the SOB's in the Bush administration are playing in destroying America.
Mike did not hold back his anger. I appreciated that.
Mike was human and often related personal anecdotes about his lovely wife and child--about his formative years in Ohio--about his own admitted foibles. I appreciated that too.
Mike Malloy is unique and is tremendously needed in America this fall to counteract the endless lies and manipulations of Bush and his handlers.
I enjoyed Mike's use of sound clips that illustrated George W. Bush's stupidity and limited IQ. Bush deserve to be mocked.
I agree with ALL that Mike Malloy said about Bush.
I will miss Mike Malloy, the brightest star in Air America's firmament.
I predict that Air America will fail and that will not bother me. They are as cowardly as all of America's other media whores who pull their punches and slant the news to appease corporate America and advertisers.
Bravo to Mike Malloy! He said many times that he would speak from his heart and if Air America could not accept that, they could fire him.
To hell with Air America.
