Arnie vetoes queers, yet again.
Wake-up call 4 freedom-seeking Californians:
Please register as a Permanent Absentee Voter.
Please vote AGAINST Arnie in November 2006.
Please register as a Permanent Absentee Voter.
Please vote AGAINST Arnie in November 2006.
Why has Guv Arnold Schwarzenegger vetoed an education bill
concerning queers
in California public-school textbooks?
To remind far-wrong Republicans that they
need to vote for him in November --
even if some of them would rather skip
that part of their ballots.
He'll do whatever he needs to do,
in order to get as large a victory as he can.
For political gain, he already killed a man (on death row).
Compared to homicide, what's a veto?
This bill,
like the same-sex marriage bill,
will eventually be signed --
but only by a Democratic governor.
**** Meanwhile, this veto is yet another
wake-up call
to queer Californians and our allies:
(1) Register as a Permanent Absentee Voter,
to make voting easy.
(2) Vote AGAINST Arnie in November 2006.
[ Yes, that means voting for the Democrat as Governor.
But you can still cast third-party protest votes
for lesser state offices. ]
(3) While you're at it,
please vote NO on repressive propositions --
especially those which the ACLU opposes. ****

PS: Since Arnie will probably be re-elected anyway,
why does he seek a landslide?
Why not be content with a simple majority of votes?
First, you guessed it, the superstar's super-size ego.
***Second, and more importantly,
he may be planning to run against
U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer
in 2010.
[ Now, THAT's a horror movie.... ] ***
