Ms. La Mesha opens the village voice talking with Lucus Nevarrez from, the Campaign to End the Death Penalty on how best to address the issues, with the element of fear utilized by the state and it's police to intimidate people of color and their supporters, the examples of death row inmates and those that the state has killed, from Tookie Williams, Clarence Ray Allen, Kevin Cooper and the stay of Micheal Morales.

Also new infomation on police abuse concerning a well known corrupt police officer Dsangel Lozano of the SFPD. No matter how corrupt the police are, people must speak up.

The event is in loving memory of Arron Williams, Sheila Detoy, Marcos, Idriss Stelly, Jahid Akbar, Richard Tims, Gregory Hooper, Cammerin Boyd, Gus Rugley, Craig Holden, Kathleen Eklund, Asa Sullivan, and Oliver Lefiti aka "Big O"
