this is an SOS - tomorrow evening, July 11th, at 7PM, Louis Lafortune, Maureen Smith, and I are going to the Santa Cruz City Council meeting, to petition them to place on the ballot, in November, a measure calling for Congress to begin impeachment proceedings against George Bush and Richard Cheney - IF YOU CAN, PLEASE COME DOWN AND JOIN US!!

the Berkeley City Council has already placed this measure on their ballot for November!! - we are working with the Berkeley language as a model for Santa Cruz - this is a chance for the voters to speak directly on this issue and the City Council DOES still have time to put this on the November ballot right here in the Cruz!!!

many towns in Vermont and Wisconsin have already passed similar measures!

IF YOU POSSIBLY CAN, PLEASE COME DOWN TO CITY HALL TOMORROW, TUESDAY JULY 11th, AT 7PM, TO SHOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR THEM TAKING THIS ACTION - AS USUAL, WEAR PINK FOR PINK-SLIPS-FOR-THE-BUSHIES!!!!!!

and, on Tuesday, you can also call 831-420-5017, a number that records messages that reach all councilmembers, and ask them to do this!!!!!
