Resistance fighters attacked a so-called “Iraqi National Guard” check point in the Nazal neighborhood in southern Fallujah as the war for Iraq raged again on Thursday on more bodies of Sunnis murfered at the hands of the Shia death squads that run loose in the occupied country.

Resistance fighters attacked a so-called “Iraqi National Guard” check point in the Nazal neighborhood in southern Fallujah as the war for Iraq raged again on Thursday on more bodies of Sunnis murfered at the hands of the Shia death squads that run loose in the occupied country.

Eyewitnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam in Nazal said that Resistance fighters equipped with light arms and rocket launchers attacked the checkpoint, completely destroying one vehicle and reportedly killing four of the puppet “National Guards” and wounding three others. The “National Guards” opened fire indiscriminately around the area in response to the attack, severely wounding one civilian passerby.

Two More Attacks In Fallujah

Fighting broke out between Resistance fighters and so-called Iraqi Army troops in the Nuwwab ad-Dubbat neighborhood of al-Fallujah on Wednesday evening according to a report from Mafkarat al-Islam. Eyewitnesses in Nuwwab ad-Dubbat said that the battle broke out when Resistance fighters attacked an army foot patrol. Witnesses said that one army soldier was killed and another wounded and that one Resistance fighter was also Martyred in the clash. The resistance fighters then withdrew to safety.

In a second incident, Resistance forces bombarded army headquarters in the ash-Shuhada’ neighborhood of southern Fallujah with 82mm mortars, scoring direct hits on the facility and sending smoke rising into the sky. There is no information available on casualties.

Car Bomber Blasts Entrance To US Headquarters In ‘Anah

In a dispatch posted at 12:05pm Makkah time midday Thursday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a car bomb exploded into the US headquarters in the middle of ‘Anah in western Iraq about 85km from the Syrian border. Eyewitnesses in the city said that an fida’i fighter drove an explosives-laden car into the entrance of the American headquarters in the middle of the city and blew up. The blast caused extensive damage to the American facility, killing or wounding a number of US and Iraqi puppet army troops who were in the area of the entrance. No further details were available.

More Sunni Bodies Found

The bodies of nineteen murdered Sunni Iraqis were found in various parts of Baghdad as the campaign to stir up sectarian strife in order to divide the country in keeping with US and Zionist strategy continues. The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a doctor in al-Yarmukh hospital, who asked not to be identified, reported that between 8am and 4pm local time Thursday, 19 bodies of Sunni Iraqi torture victims were found. Some of the bodies were badly decomposed and swollen, having been killed some days earlier. The doctor said that the bodies showed lacerations around their necks indicating that they were hanged rather than being shot, as has hitherto been common by the Shia death squads that operating in the country under the noses of US Occupation forces. The doctor at al-Yarmuk Hospital said that the latest 19 victims ranged in aged from 20 to 50 years.

Bomb Blasts Column North Of Al-Ishaqi

A bomb exploded by a National Guard column on the main road north of al-Ishaqi, about 85km north of Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the bomb went off as the column traveled on the road to Balad in the north. The blast destroyed a troop transport vehicle, reportedly killing two National Guardians and wounding four others.

Bomb Targets Convoy Hauling Construction Equipment To US Bases

In a dispatch posted at 11am Makkah time Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Resistance fighters attacked a convoy of trucks driven by men working for the US occupation forces that were hauling construction equipment to the US mega bases being built in al-Mushahadah, 25km north of Baghdad. Eyewitnesses said fighters attacked the truck convoy on the main road, killing the driver and wounding six other mercenaries employed by US occupation forces.

Rapid Intervention Force Commander Killed Near Ba‘Qubah

Resistance fighters shot and killed Colonel Sami Husayn ‘Ali at-Ta’i, the commander of the so-called “Rapid Intervention Force” in the Diyala Province, along with three policemen and three of his companions in the town of Kharnabat, northeast of Ba‘qubah, about 65km northeast of Baghdad. Three of the Resistance fighters who carried out the attack were wounded but managed to withdraw from the scene. In a separate incident, US occupation forces arrested three Iranians and one member of the pro-American Shi‘i sectarian Badr Brigades and led them away to the American base in the city. An Iraqi who works as a translator told Mafkarat al-Islam that the occupational forces discovered the four, near where the “Rapid Internvention Force” commander was killed, but would not reveal any further details.

Resistance Bomb Blasts US Equipment Convoy

A bomb exploded by a truck convoy hauling military equipment to US bases on the highway south of al-Latifiyah, about 30km south of Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Latifiyah as saying that the bomb destroyed one of the trucks, killing its driver immediately.

Car Bomber Detonates Payload West Of Mosul, Four Dead

In a dispatch posted at 1:55pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a car bomb exploded by an police patrol on the main road to Sinjar about 110km west of Mosul in northern Iraq. Quoting a source in the Iraqi police, the media reported as saying that a fida’i fighter drove an explosives-laden car into a puppet police patrol on the road to Sinjar, destroying one patrol vehicle, disabling a second and killing four so-called policemen and wounded four others.

Sniper Strikes US Soldier In Watch Tower

A sniper struck a US soldiers in the middle of Mosul in northern Iraq on Thursday according to a report from Mafkarat al-Islam. Eyewitnesses said that the American soldier was on guard duty in an armored tower on the main road in the city when he took a direct hit in the head from the sharpshooter’s bullet. It killed him instantly and was seen falling within the armored tower.

Sabean Temple In Basrah Blown Up

In a dispatch posted at 8:05pm Makkah time Thursday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that armed Shi‘i sectarian militias in the southern Iraqi city of Basra blew up and destroyed a Sabean temple in the al-‘Ashshar district in the middle of the city. Eyewitnesses said that the bombing caused very heavy damaged to the temple when Shi‘i sectarian militias raided the temple late at night and then blew it up. Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Shia militias were believed to have blown up the Sabean temple as part of their effort to establish a Shia “Islamic State” in southern Iraq, to which end they wish to eliminate all “pagans.” The community of Sabeans, an ancient religious group that predates Islam and Christianity, has about 75,000 followers in Iraq.
