Street Theater/Action/Outreach:
Join us in the late-afternoon or early-evening on July 4th (exact time & place to be announced) to visit multiple picnic / bbq / fireworks venues in the Bay Area. Some of us will be in costume as detainees, while others hand literature and orange ribbons, and collect pledges for the Declaration of Peace, a pledge to participate in non-violent action to end the US war in Iraq (http://www.declarationofpeace.org).
What better way to celebration "Independence Day"?
