UCSC, April, 11, 2006: For the third time in a row a coalition protest organized by Students Against War (SAW) ousted military recruiters from the UCSC Job Fair.

UCSC, April, 11, 2006: For the third time in a row a coalition protest organized by Students Against War (SAW) ousted military recruiters from the UCSC Job fair.

Fourteen images depict events from arrival of 160 SAW counter recruitment protestors, through action decision making, struggles with UCSC staff and police, recruiter frustration and final departure.

Over 150 protestors block access to military recruiter tables in an isolated office next to the main Job Fair meeting room. Navy, Marine, and Coast Guard recruiters did not attend. The only recruiting group was from the Army and National Guard.
