Marking the 3rd Anniversary of the War in Iraq

Dear MFSO Members,


As the third anniversary of this horrific war draws near, we would like to hear from
you about any activities that you may be speaking at or participating in (including
when and where they are taking place), and whether you would like to be included in
a press release featuring MFSO members who will be involved in activities
commemorating this sad and tragic anniversary.

If you are planning on participating in events being sponsored by others, please
send us a note and let us know what you are doing. Tell us about the event, when and
where it is, what you'll be doing -- and if you'd like to be included in the MFSO
press release.

We also want to encourage you to take this opportunity to communicate by email or
letter with your elected officials - calling on them to show some leadership and end
the war. We have repeatedly heard from Members of Congress and their staff that they
are not hearing enough from their constituents about this war-- and there is nothing
more powerful than the voice of military families asking them what they are doing to
Bring Them Home NOW and Take Care of Them When They Get Here! If you want to see

The third anniversary of the war in Iraq is a critical time for our voices to be
