Join us for an important Anti-War Teach-in on “The Expanding U.S. Drive and the Forces Resisting It” Topics and Speakers Will Include: The U.S. Campaign Against Iran – Mazda Majidi, ANSWER Coalition Venezuela, Cuba and the U.S. – Gloria La Riva, National Committee to Free the Cuban 5 Analysis of the Palestinian Election – Ramiz Rafeedie, Free Palestine Alliance Eyewitness Palestine – Nora Barrows-Friedman, KPFA Flashpoints Martial Law & Resistance in the Philippines – Gabriela Network/KMB Haiti Under Occupation – Pierre Labossiere, Haiti Action Committee Report from Colombia – Pablo Serrano, Colombian Human Rights Activist & Photojournalist The Stepped-Up U.S. War at Home & Around the World – Richard Becker, ANSWER Coalition Time for discussion will follow presentations. Donation of $3-10 requested, no one turned away for lack of funds. Flyers, posters, stickers and other materials to build for the mass march and rally on Saturday, March 18, and the youth and student day of resistance on March 20 will be available. Beautiful new placards for March 18 and 20 will be available at the teach-in for regional demonstrations and campus actions taking place outside the Bay Area.
